Features and application
LV transformer switchgear – RTL designed to power LV devices.
It has a wide range of applications in professional transformer stations, industrial sites, shopping centres and other facilities.
The switchgear is a free-standing unit with frame structure, made of cold rolled galvanised steel profiles. It has fixed top and side covers and a removable front cover or doors made of RAL 7035 powder-coated sheet steel. On the bottom, it has a perforated cable bracket and foundation fixtures used to mount the switchgear to the floor.

Options
The supplied switchgear can be equipped with a main apparatus to switch the switchgear off under full load.
The main apparatus can be:
- linear switch disconnector
- rotary switch disconnector
- compact circuit breaker
- air circuit breaker
On the outgoing lines, RTL can have:
- linear switch disconnectors, e.g. ARS
- linear fuse blocks
- other after prior consultation with the manufacturer
Outgoing apparatus is mounted directly on copper busbars. Areas designed for the installation of additional linear apparatus are covered with protective shields.
In addition, the switchgear can be equipped with:
- current and voltage measuring devices
- semi-direct energy measurement system, are lighting element
- capacitor to compensate transformer idling
- surge protection
