Features and application
Pegaso indoor switchgears are designed for power distribution at the rated voltage of up to 24 kV in indoor and container industrial transformer stations. Pegaso bays can be used in separate electrical rooms as wall-mounted and free-standing units.
Advantages:
- modern switchgear apparatus in the form of rotary disconnectors and disconnecting switches with air insulation and double-throw pin-out
- small-size bays; the width of feeder bay and transformer bay is only 500 mm
- compartment-like structure of the switchgear ensures high operational safety
- the used mechanical interlock prevents incorrect switching procedures
- two-compartment bays construction allowing the primary busbars to be divided from the power cable connections compartment
- long operation due to the use of modern drives and copper power buses without the need for service and maintenance operations
- universality in designing different switchgear configurations with any number of bays
- feeder and transformer bays can be equipped with disengaging coil, allowing remote bay switch-off
- bays can be made as single units or parts of freely-configured switchgear. In addition, feeder and transformer bays can be equipped with reactance insulators cooperating with voltage signalling devices
- the switchgear has primary busbars and cable compartments, which are separated by a supporting frame with disconnector, forming a mechanical and electrical separation between these compartments.
